HERMA self-adhesive materials with BS 5609 certificate,Section 2 (seawater resistance)
For most products used in the chemical industry, certification in accordance with "British Standard 5609, Section 2" is required.
Compliance with this requirement means that the affixed and unprinted label can be stored for 3 months in seawater, without the risk of it coming away from the surface to which it was affixed. This allows labelled containers to be transported by sea without any problems. With the UV acrylic based adhesive from HERMA in combination with a suitable label material, you can meet that challenge.
